LT 20-inch Carbon Wheelset for Brompton

20-inch Carbon Wheelset for Brompton, custom-engineered for Brompton modification. It balances folding mechanism compatibility, durability and rolling performance, making it a popular upgrade choice for Brompton riders.

Brompton bikes are widely used for urban commuting, weekend rides and short-distance suburban trips, frequently encountering manhole covers, speed bumps and potholed roads. This carbon rim does not chase ultra-lightweight blindly. Instead, structural strength is prioritized to handle daily bumpy road conditions.

The rim adopts UD unidirectional carbon fiber technology, delivering both premium appearance and mechanical performance. Built with professional hand wheel building, spoke tension is tested repeatedly with staged rest periods to improve fatigue resistance and reduce the risk of loose spokes and wheel trueness deviation over long-term riding. After upgrading, it features lower rolling resistance compared to stock wheelsets, offering snappier starts and less effort for cruising. Dimensionally verified, the wheelset will not interfere with folding movements. Disassembly and storage retain the original folding feature of your bike — no need to sacrifice folding convenience for performance.

The carbon rim has passed static load and impact tests. Its rated total load capacity supports rider plus carry-on belongings up to 90kg. Suitable for riders weighing under 90kg, it meets the needs of daily adult cycling and light-load commuting. Jumping and heavy-impact off-road use are not recommended.
